It has been known late that 6-member international idol group A’ST1 has disbanded.The group’s agency DSP Media said in a phone interview on the 6th, “A’ST1 has recently disbanded. The members are now going their own ways.”
The staff interviewed has avoided questions on reasons for the group’s disbandment. Earlier, the group leader Park JungJin wrote on A’ST1’s official fanclub Eunice official site the news of the group’s disbandment on 27th November.
He revealed, “I find it hard to believe too. We are sorry”, “Currently the members are all doing well”, “And each members are working hard at where they are now”, “Thank you everyone all this while, you were our strength and we love you”.
The group, consisting of members Park JungJin, Seong InGyu, Im HanByul, Byun JangMoon and Chinese member Haiming and Japanese member Tomo, debuted back in 2008 with the song ‘1234BACK’.
Their last activity was in April where they released ‘Dynamite’.
