1/3 of the Jonas Brothers is taking acting a little bit more seriously.

While Joe's younger brother Nick goes solo and his older brother Kevin gets accustomed to married life, the 20-year-old Jonas has his sights set on tackling Hollywood.

"I love to make people laugh. If I can make people laugh, then I feel good," says Joe, who is currently reading scripts. "For me, acting is something you're able to be eclectic. That's something that I would really like to be a part of."

Joe Jonas to follow suit and try out a solo career?

JOE JONAS is considering a solo career after watching younger brother NICK enjoy success with his new band THE ADMINISTRATION.

Joe is secretly working with other bands for a possible side project.

He tells E! Online, "I'm writing songs right now. I'm writing a lot of music. It's going really well. I've written about five songs with some of my friends in different bands and things like that. With Grammy (Awards) Week coming up, all my friends and all these musicians are flying in (to Los Angeles). I love writing with musicians."
